Marmaris has 2 beaches that are accessible from the city centre. One beach is a public beach where you can take your rest and enjoy the sun. Next to this beach is a more Tourist city that stretches over sun 10 kilometers. This beach offers many activities such as: parasailing, renting jet skis or behind a boat on a tire.
In the surrounding areas of Marmaris, however, there are beaches that are really worth visiting. For example, the well-known Cleopatra beach is about 16 kilometres away from the centre of Marmaris. In and around Marmaris

Marmaris is best known for its beach and nightlife. However, there are a number of sights that are really worth visiting. However, Turkish culture is still clearly visible here and is mixed with Western culture. You can see this in marmaris’ streetscape.

As described earlier, there is a large marina in Marmaris. This port is full of Turkey’s most beautiful, largest and luxurious yachts. So it’s really worth visiting. Marmaris Bazaar is partially covered and is close to the city centre. It is therefore a real must for someone who likes shopping. However, it is not very authentic anymore and the sellers are very intrusive. Most sellers even appeal to you in Dutch to sell you something. How do I get to Marmaris

When you go on holiday to Marmaris, it’s best to fly at Dalaman Airport. There are several airlines that fly to it. You are about 3.5 hours on the way to Dalaman (from schiphol).
